Why is it hot?
Longstanding favourite of Cardiff's retro fashion conscious keen to steer clear of the head-to-toe Topshop look, Hobo's stocks clothing from the 60's to the 80's for guys and gals, and unlike many other vintage clothing boutiques that have sprung up, your purchases won't break the bank.
It's a little claustrophobic inside, with every inch of space available used to cram in trinkets, shelves of boots, and rails on rails of flared jeans and leather jackets so that it's hard to know where to look on your first visit. Once you get over the initial assault of colour though, you'll find a small but quirky selection of bags, t-shirts, and jumpers that maybe you'll be asking Santa for.
If you're looking for a unique Christmas party dress head for the rails at the back of the store and be prepared to rummage - new pieces come in all the time, and leave just as quickly, so you'll have to come in regularly to find the sparkly number you've set your heart on.
Must buy?
Come summer, make sure you stock up on the pretty print dresses (small sizes, so don't be too ambitious when you're trying them on!) that are a steal for £15.
Best part?
It's a browser's heaven, and it's fun looking through it all, even if nothing takes your eye.
