Why is it hot?
A favourite for working lunches, 33 Windsor Place shouldn't be overlooked as a place to meet on weekends, or for those cheeky mid-week drinks. Inside it's smart albeit blandly decorated, but the atmosphere's not bad and the selection of drinks is good. There are some great beers available, including Peroni on draught, and there are the usual cocktail offers and choice of spirits.
One of the main criteria for a good city-centre bar these days has to be a garden to accommodate the smokers amongst your friends, and number 33 has a particularly lovely and secluded patio area, that's at its best on those rare sunny days.
Overall, it's non-raucous for those that enjoy their drinks in civilised style.

Cocktails are £4.25 - choose from Margaritas, Bloody Marys or the obligatory Dry Martini to discuss the new James Bond film over.
