H&M Announces MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA Collaboration!

hm_maison_martin_margiela

The rumours are true - this November, the mega fashion house MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA will launch it's collaboration with high street powerhouse H&M. It is the latest in a long line of designer collaborations with the brand, and we have to admit that this is one we are very excited about.

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA is an avant garde French label, and a high street collaboration seems a bit of a departure for the label which is know for it's deconstructed designs and quirky shapes. However, we can't wait to see what they come up with...

"MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA is one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades. I am so excited by this radical collaboration which will give fashion lovers around the world the chance to wear special pieces by MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA. This collaboration will be a great and memorable fashion moment", says Margareta van den Bosch, Creative Advisor at H&M.

"We are very happy to present MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA pieces with H&M, offering a new interpretation of our vision. The democracy of our fashion has always been at the centre of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further. We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all." MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA

Released on 15th November at around 230 stores worldwide, as well as online, we predict a fashion riot!

What do you lot think? Is it just another collabroation, or are you excited about the avant garde designs hitting the high street and are already buying your sleeping bag for the high street queues? Let us know by commenting below.
