Just IMAGINE how exciting this must be... Alfie and Zoe got a glimpse of their waxworks in progress on their new Madame Tussauds figures at a second sitting in Brighton yesterday, where they came face-to-face with perfect clay sculptures of their heads.
The pair had some fun trying their hands at putting some finishing touches to the clay work and in ‘PointlessBlog’ spirit, Alfie and Zoe were even set a ‘pointless clay challenge’. The clays, which bear an uncanny resemblance to them, will be used to make the wax moulds for their figures, scheduled to be unveiled at the world famous attraction in London in the autumn - how many of you have already booked tickets??
Both Zoe and Alfie were amazed with the progress so far, commenting: "It’s so exciting to see the clay sculptures – we can’t wait to meet our finished wax doubles." The figures will be featured in a special YouTube area at Madame Tussauds London, portrayed as their fans are used to seeing them, lounging on their bed in their spare bedroom, uploading content to their massively popular channels.
PS how cute is this pic of them kissing each others clay models? Shipping them right outta the door...
**PREVIOUSLY**
Alfie Deyes and Zoe Sugg, two of the UK's most influential YouTube stars, will be joining Madame Tussauds London later this year - and it might be the most exciting news we've ever heard.
The set up where the Zalfie figures will be positioned in the world-famous London attraction is going to be 'the epicentre of their vlog-sphere' AKA the spare bedroom in their Brighton house, and they'll be posed lounging on the bed uploading to their channels.
NEED TO KNOW: ZOELLA'S FAVE BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF LAST YEAR
Zoe and Alfie went for their first sitting for the Madame Tussauds sculptors in London on Monday 13th April, and with waxworks usually taking around four months and a team of 20 dedicated sculptors, we can hopefully expect to see the pair in London Madame Tussauds before the end of the Summer holidays - so make sure you book in pronto!
To ensure the set is as true to life as possible, Zoe and Alfie are going to have an input into styling the set and themselves - and are even going to donate their own clothes for their wax figures to wear.
Ben Sweet, General Manager of Madame Tussauds London, said: "We are delighted to be working with Alfie and Zoe. It’s a first for the attraction and reflects just how huge these YouTube stars are."

Making Zalfie into waxworks is a pretty big deal people... Madame Tussauds Studios London has been making wax figures for over 150 years and take over 500 precise body measurements, insert real head hairs one by one, and countless layers of paints and tints are applied to build up skin tones - we cannot WAIT to see the likeness Zoe and Alfie's figures have with the real thing. SO. EXCITED!
