Company's Ibiza Area Guide

Playa D'En Bossa

Let’s go to the beach beach!! There’s a reason this Med hot spot is called The White Isle, with creamy sands and crystal seas, this is the stuff paradise is made of and Playa D’en Bossa towards the very South of the island is where you can experience the islands longest beach. Here you can make the most of the Ibiza’s water sports, from jet skis, windsurfing and if you’re feeling really glam you can even rent a catamaran!

Where to stay: El Hotel Pacha.  Just a short walk from one of the islands most famous clubs, Pacha, this fun loving hotel has a pool, bar and most importantly wild post-Pacha parties.  Rooms are luxurious and offer the perfect retreat if you’re in need of 40 winks and some suites even have jacuzzis on the balconies! Bliss! You also get free entry into Pacha club and a complimentary breakfast. (From £192).

What to expect:  Plenty of tourists and potentially a celeb spotting.

What not to expect: A free sun lounger.

Ibiza Old Town

If history and ruins are your thing then head to towards the South-East of the island to the Old Town.  Dalt Vila is the historic centre of the Old Town and boasts a fortress, cathedral and of course the ancient walls.  There are charismatic streets busting with charm…and cobbles, lined with marble Roman statues, this part of the island offers an atmospheric way to experience the island away from the party goers and although it’s a bit of a hike to get to, the views make it well worth it.  Have a coffee, check out the local markets (Mercat Vell, the organic fruit and vegetable market is a Company fave) and lap up this culture rich island, it’s no wonder the White Isle is a World Heritage Site. Where to stay: Mirador De Dalt Vila. A 1905 mansion and one of the first of its kind to be built in this area, the outside of the hotel has been maintained, however the inside offers modern amenities with marble bathrooms along with a restaurant serving the island’s cuisine and of course our faves, great cocktails. (From £208.50)

What to expect: families and long lazy days soaking up some culture and lots of caffeine.

What not to expect: to be woken up at all hours by party goers!

San Antonio

If you’re an out and out party lover and dancing queen then San Antonio is where you need to be. Not for the faint hearted, prepare yourself for full on fun, day or night. Close to the beaches and the home of the sunset strip, there are chances to escape this party pandemonium. Café Del Mar and Café Mambo are Company faves to watch the sun go down, then hop in a 10 minute taxi and head to Space, Pacha or Amnesia (take your pick!) and party until it’s time to do it all over again!

Where to stay: Ibiza Rocks Hotel. If you plan to party hard, you might as well go all out and stay in this place, renowned for its pool and boat parties, all hotel bookings include tickets to the hotel’s hotly anticipated nights…go hard or go home after all?!?

What to expect: Hen parties and lads on tour!

What not to expect: Boredom.

OFF ON HOLS? WE SUGGEST PACKING A FEW OF THESE...

Sant Josep

On the West coast of the Island, Sant Josep offers up mind blowing views, craggy clifftops and secluded beach coves.  Distanced from the hustle and bustle of stag n hen dos, yet close to some tourist hotspots, here you have the chance to see FLAMINGOS and not the scary plastic ones you may see if you frequent the less authentic parts of the island! From the busy Cala d’Hort beach to the idyllic seaside village of Cala Vedella this area of Ibiza has something for everyone.

Where to stay: Villa Anais offers magical views of the iconic landmark island Es Vedra and can sleep up to 14. A breath taking villa with an infinity pool and terrace will mean you will never want to leave this little haven of luxury (from £12,731 per week).

What to expect: PDAs, a result of the romantic sunsets and many restaurants. What not to expect: Disappointment. Numerous beaches all catering for different needs, snorkelling, salt pans and hill top villages; this is Ibiza at its best.

Santa Eularia

The north of the island is rediscovering it’s 60s, hippy roots and Santa Eularia is the place to stay if you’re craving a more mellow, ‘peace out’ kind of a vibe. Nightlife is much more relaxed here and gives you the chance to chill with the locals and range of boho artists, musicians and general 'duuudes'! Make sure you pop along to the hippy market at El Canar to stock up on your ibicencos and garlands.

Where to stay: Can Pere. Why not embrace the hippy atmosphere with open arms and stay in these increasingly trendy farm houses turned rural hotels, otherwise known as agroturismos. This hotel offers up fresh local cuisine and is set in peaceful woodland…and don’t worry there’s a pool and terrace to top up your tan!

What to expect: To return feeling rejuvenated and potentially with dreads… but that’s your call!

What not to expect: Mega clubs and European tourists.
