The Orange Tree Hotel, Richmond

If you're looking for a cute boutique hotel, with  great pub, beautiful rooms and perfect location, really well connected to central London but away from all the hustle and bustle, then you need to head to The Orange Tree in Richmond.

They've recently undergone a bit of a transformation, and the well-known pub has now got itself 13 brand new beautifully designed boutique bedrooms -  and a stunning new-look pub and dining room.

The decor has been influenced by the local green spaces of Richmond Park and Kew Gardens, and the botanical theme continues througout the whole hotel - from the fruity wallpaper to the olive green tone, the rooms are full of quirky touches, custom-made furniture, cute artwork and some of the rooms have gorgeous rolltop baths (our attic room even had one in the bedroom - LOVE!).

Delivering all the luxuroes you could possibly hope for or want in a luxe hotel, the rooms boast Hypnos beds with luxuriously soft linen, Algotherm toiletries, 40-inch flat screen TVs with Sky Plus, high-speed WiFi, fully-stocked mini-bars, Nespresso machines and a choice of walk-in showers or bathtubs.

Despite being above the pub, we didn't hear a peep and had a wonderful night's sleep - and the best bit is that you can pop downstairs for a nightcap or one of The Orange Tree's signature cocktails before bed! The  bar has a warm and relaxed vibe with Chesterfield sofas and comfy oversized chairs - and the breakfast in the moring was top-notch... you really need to try it for yourself!
