The Perfect Place for Italian Light Summer Eating..

You know when it's reeeally hot in the Summer and you're hungry, but don't fancy anything really heavy or Wintery? Yep, that's how we've been feeling practically every day - so when we were looking for an after-work bite to eat, we headed to Prezzo to try out their Summer menu.

Starting with the bread board to share (an amazing platter of tomato and pesto bread, mozzarella and garlic bread, ciabatta and rosemary flatbread, served with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil), we got a real appetite for what was to come! The starters are spot on for Summer, with choices including calamari, crab cakes, baked mushrooms and grilled goat's cheese, there is a real choice for veggies too.

Then for the main event. Pizzas, EXECUTIVE pizzas (yep, that's a thing, we orderd the posh pepperoni one, felt important and felt VERY pleased with ourselves), calzone, risottos and pastas; including king prawn spaghetti, fusilli gorgonzola and penne al pollo zafferano (try it, it's delish). And if you want a break from traditional Italian, there are also grills and salads to choose from - everyone you are with will find something they love on the menu!

And to round off the meal, you literally HAVE to order the honeycomb smash cheesecake - we can't wait to go back and have more!
