When the weather gets a bit warmer, our tastes totally change when it comes to eating out - we don't want heavy, rich dishes anymore, but light and colourful meals - which is why when we spied the new Spring menu at Prezzo, renowned for it's delicious Italian food, we had to try it out.
The main additions to the new Spring menu is a brand new range of delectable flatbread salads and a variety of new dishes with wild mushrooms the star ingredient. The menu features new pizzas, pastas, risotto, grills and salads, as well as new desserts - but it was the flatbread salads and starters that caught out eye. A variety of toppings on a grilled garlic flatbread is the perfect lunch on a warm day, accompanined by a cheeky drink...
And Prezzo don't disappoint there either - brand new aperitifs included on offer include: Aperol Spritz with Aperol, prosecco and soda and Prezzo Royale with Chambord and prosecco.
Need a dessert? Well, why not? Ditch the heavy, hot puddings of winter and get stuck into the perfect Summer dessert - a salted caramel arctic slice (below), teamed with the perfect drink to finish off your meal - an arranciata cocktail; san Pellegrino, St Germain elderflower and rum... bascially it's an Italian summer in a glass!
