HIDEOUT FESTIVAL- Zrce beach, island of Pag

What you’ll be rocking to:

The gods of dance Rudimental and Disclosure will be providing the headline soundtrack, look out for B-Traits and Skream on the decks too.

Zrce Beach is the party hub of Croatia, which sprawls across three open-air club venues Papaya, Aquarius and Kalypso nightclubs. Mountains and woodland surround the beach, but it’s the crystal-clear water and white sand that are the main attractions.

Where to sleep

The nearby, cheap-to-rent apartments offer the perfect place for her to rest her head, and grab some water and a bite to eat before moving on.

JULY

THE GARDEN FESTIVAL, Tisno, island of Murter

2-9 July 2014

What you’ll be rocking to:

DJs such as Crazy P Sound System to Magic Door are delivering the sounds. This DJ-takeover festival delivers an eclectic mix of everything from soulful disco to techno and bass.

Go exploring…

The festival is in relaxed seaside town of Tisno, a 16th-century fishing village where boats bob on the water and there's a smell of fresh seafood.

Where to sleep

Head to the luxury Shikar tents on site. This chic twist on camping offers everything from comfy beds, to a wardrobe area and even eye-masks.

STOP MAKING SENSE FESTIVAL- Tisno, island of Murter

What you’ll be rocking to:

It’s all about the Lovesick Boat Party with Horse Meat Disco on July 31 with special guest DJs, including Severino Panzetta & Joshua James.

Go exploring…

This secluded bay with its own private beach has an intimate atmosphere, which makes you feel that there is nowhere in the world like it. Eat at local restaurant Brošćica, which offers up Dalmatian smoked ham and seafood treats.

The brand-new family hotel Hotel Tisno, a lush converted century-old building with antique glamour.

SEPTEMBER

OUTLOOK FESTIVAL- Pula, Croatia.

3-7 September 2014

OLD skool hip-hop as Ms. Lauryn Hill is headlining this year.

Go exploring…

The magic of Pula is its history. This festival is spread over a dozen forts, and the beats reverb off the walls and create an altogether more majestic experience.

Where to sleep

Camp on the festival site with your average tent or upgrade to boutique camping in the ‘Podpad Village’ with a toilets and showers round the corner.

Rovinj coastal town, Croatia

8-12 September 2014

Nile Rodgers– the hit maker teams up with Chic to offer the sounds of the summer. Add Chvrches and Clean Bandit to the list too.

The old coastal town, with its classic charm, offers yet another side to Croatia with fishermen catching their next meal.
