The NEW Tinkerbell Has Been Announced

Singer, style icon and now Tinkerbell, yep Paloma Faith has just landed our dream job playing the iconic fairy in ITV’s new adaptation of Peter Pan titled Peter And Wendy.

Along with Paloma as Tinkerbell, Stanley Tucci has been cast as Hook, Laura Fraser will play Mrs Darling, and newbie Zac Sutcliffe will play the eponymous Peter.

Peter And Wendy will open in modern day Great Ormond Street hospital with a 12-year-old Lucy Rose (played by Hazel Doupe) waiting treatment for a serious heart condition. The two-hour drama cuts back and forward between modern day London and Neverland.

Speaking of the new drama, ITV director of drama, Steve November said: "This wonderful interpretation by Adrian Hodges is faithful to Barrie's original, but adds a new and unexpected dimension that makes it feel as though we are hearing the story for the first time,"

"We're thrilled to have such a great cast on board to star in this exciting new drama."
