DJ Hannah Wants Gives Us Her Festival Essentials

If any one knows how to pack for a festival, it's super cool DJ Hannah Wants - crowned Best Breakthrough DJ at the DJ Mag awards last year, 2015 is already shaping up to be a pretty damn exciting year for the international DJ. Ahead of her set at " target="_blank">We Are FSTVL, we caught up with her to give us the packing lowdown... 

Hunters. Wellies are essential in festival season. I take the condition of my trainers very seriously and without doubt if you wear trainers to festival, you’re not wearing them again!

A portable phone charger is crucial! It doesn’t need a power supply and saves your life if you need to send an email or when you lose your friends, which is inevitable at some point!

Rain Poncho/rain jacket (or a bin bag). Last year at Glastonbury we decided to go and explore the festival, five minutes later we got caught in the biggest thunder, lightening and rain storm I’ve ever seen. Thankfully, I’d already DJ’d but I was soaked and I didn’t look too great! A little water protection at least makes your clothes and hair salvageable!

A mirror. It can take three hours to find the toilets at a festival and usually they’re not equipped with the basics!

Tissues/wet wipes/anti-bacterial gel. I’m saying these three are a vital combination throughout your whole stay at festival to ensure clean, fresh and happy times!

A torch! This one may not seen obvious but if you’ve got some kind of torch in your bag, you’re at a major advantage at any festival. When the sun goes down, there are many different kinds of situation you can find yourself in where a little light would most definitely help!
