The Real Reason You Should Brush your Teeth BEFORE Breakfast

We know it doesn't seem to make sense, but trust us, we've done the research. Historically, we have been told that brushing after you eat is a good thing, because you're getting rid of all those bits of food that might get stuck in your pegs and cause bacteria - but when it comes to the morning time, that's really not the case.

BUT MAKE SURE YOU DO IT PROPERLY! 11 WAYS YOU MIGHT'VE BEEN BRUSHING YOUR TEETH WRONG

Brushing your teeth isn't just for getting rid of food - it's also a preventative step in making sure you don't get enamel aroision, and picking up your toothbrush first thing in the morning BEFORE you eat is a much better idea as you are coating your teeth with protective fluoride, stopping acidic food or drinks eroding your precious teeth enamel. 

And we're happy as it gives us another reason to get breakfast from Pret at the station if we got up too late to make it at home. Result!
