Obviously, any form of workout at any time of day is better than nothing, but it turns out that there is an optimum time of day for a workout - and it's NOT the morning.

Good news if you find it hard to drag yourself out of bed in the AM, because apparently it was observed that athletes who train earlier in the day could be more prone to infections as your body hasn't reached peak body temperature, leaving you with a weaker immune system.

It turns out that the optimal time to hit the gym is between 4-7pm (after work or uni), as body temperature has warmed up as the day has gone on and by then reaches exactly the right level, enhancing muscle strength, flexibility and stamina.
In a nutshell, don't feel guilty about hitting the snooze button three times - just make up for it by pounding the pavements later in the day. Sorted!
